The World Wrestling Entertainment is an American entertainment company that features professional wrestling. The company also produces film and music. As of 2014, WWE is the largest professional wrestling promotion in the world holding at least three hundred twenty televised and non-televised events every year. There are about thirty six million viewers in more than one hundred fifty territories. WWE is available in thirty five languages.

The founders are Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon. It is headquartered in 1241 East Main Street, Stamford, Connecticut with satellite offices in London, Mumbai, Dubai, Tokyo, Munich, Mexico City, New York, Los Angeles and here. Not all people think that the contents of WWE are family-friendly but the programs are only committed to give family entertainment.

Now we know a bit about WWE, it is time to announce the good news – WWE Live superstars came from their headquarters to spend some time here in Singapore. Here are some things that we should keep in mind:

  • When and Where: WWE Live superstars will be coming on July 2, 2015. The event will be at the Singapore Indoor Stadium at Sports Hub.
  • Tickets: The tickets will be available starting March 26, 2015 (Thursday) from 9am. We can get tickets at their website or at the Sports Hub Tix Box Office. We can also call Sports Hub Tix’s hotline at 3158-7888. If we want, we can try Sports Hub Tix Outlet at SingPost locations. Ticket prices range from S$488 to S$48.

  • Who are coming: WWE Live fans will have an opportunity to see WWE Live superstars in person like John Cena, Rusev (the United States Champion), Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett (the Intercontinental Champion), Kane and Dolph Ziggler. Chris Marsh, the Vice President and General Manager of WWE Asia Pacific told the news that the superstars are excited to come here and that the fans should expect a “larger-than-life entertainment event”. The line-up is still subject for changes.
  • WWE Programming: We have to know that there are different WWE programming for different audiences. It is useful if we identify twelve programming. The programming are Monday Night Raw, Main Event, SmackDown, Nxt, Vintage, WWE Superstars, AfterBurn, Bottomline, This Week, WWE Experience and Total Divas. These programs are seen on StarHub. It does not end there because WWE also features original series including documentaries and classic matches.
